An inspiring international event on 15th May 2025 will gather DIHs representative for the Smart Circuit – Transnational Mobility Mission in Varaždin. Held at the University of Zagreb – Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering Varaždin, the event will showcase the power of regional collaboration in driving forward sustainable innovation, particularly in the context of the circular economy.
Fostering Innovation Across Borders
The organizers, the Croatian Chamber of Economy – Varaždin County Chamber and DIH Connect, will highlight regional digital and environmental challenges, emphasizing the importance of cross-border cooperation to enhance value chains, share know-how, and strengthen resilience through digital and green transition pathways. The goal of the event is presentation and discussion with visiting partner from TECOS – Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre and Digital Innovation Hub Slovenia on practical methods for replicating successful innovation models and creating synergies among DIHs.
From Theory to Practice: A Visit to the Environmental Engineering Lab
The heart of the event will be a guided study visit to the Laboratory for Environmental Engineering within the Faculty of Geotechnical Engineering. This lab will present several pioneering projects and technological solutions aimed at facilitating the circular transition in industries, particularly those within environmental, construction, and material management sectors.
