Project decription
Buildings are a key factor to the EU’s energy efficiency policy, as nearly 40% of final energy consumption and 36% of greenhouse gas emissions are produced in buildings. The term nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB) was introduced as a general EU framework requesting Member States to elaborate their national approaches and implementation plans. There is no coherent education and training for energy efficiency of buildings for the teachers/multiplicators who want to train students / workers in building sector for “green skills” according to current nZEB legislation in the Hungary-Croatia cross -border area. This is why the partners created a new joint syllabus with common and national approaches to nearly Zero Energy Building (nZEB) implementation and give teachers/multiplucators a comprehensive up- to- date teaching programmes with all didactic materials regarding nearly-Zero Energy Buildings. Through 12 regional workshops the building owners were informed about nearly Zero Energy Building requirements and principles. During the project 600 participants were duly informed, 130 teachers/professionals/students were trained.
